Hyundai Exter SUV Revealed Ahead of Launch in India to Compete with Tata Punch and Citroen C3

The Hyundai Exter SUV has created quite a buzz with its early reveal on the streets of South Korea before its upcoming launch in India. It is expected to go head-to-head with rivals such as the Tata Punch and Citroen C3 in the Indian market.

From the spy shots, it is evident that the Exter SUV has a bold and rugged look with squared wheel arches, complemented by stylish alloy wheels. The black roof

rails add to its sporty appearance, while the dual-tone finish on the C-pillar gives it a distinctive look. The rear of the SUV features wraparound taillights, possibly LED units like the front headlights, and is connected by a sleek light bar.

The Exter SUV will only be available with petrol engines and manual and automatic gearbox options. There is also the possibility of an iMT gearbox being introduced. Hyundai has positioned the Exter SUV above the Grand i10 Nios but below the Venue in their small-car lineup, making it a feature-rich vehicle.
