According to the report, a significant proportion of the Indian adult population, specifically 27%, have experienced a loss of confidence in social media platforms. Additionally, 43% of the populace are increasingly anxious about the escalating pervasiveness of disinformation or misinformation. Such statistics are indicative of a prevailing state of confusion and unpredictability surrounding online media.
